Rebecca Brown, LMSW

Rebecca Brown (she/her/hers) is a relationally-grounded clinician whose greatest strength lies in building deep, trusting connections with clients. She creates a space that is safe, affirming, and stabilizing—where individuals feel empowered to show up fully as themselves. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in connection.

She works with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, complex trauma (C-PTSD), emotional regulation, relationship challenges, and identity exploration. She also works with children ages 8 and up, often utilizing trauma-based art therapy—a game-changing approach for many younger clients. As a generalist practitioner, she draws from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), offering both flexibility and precision to meet clients where they are—whether seeking brief, solution-focused support or engaging in longer-term, exploratory work.

Her practice integrates a holistic lens informed by her training as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and mindfulness practitioner. She offers mind-body interventions to support nervous system regulation and deepen emotional insight. Additionally, she is trained in trauma-informed expressive therapies, providing creative, strengths-based interventions that may incorporate art, movement, and other nonverbal modalities—especially beneficial for clients healing from trauma or those seeking alternative pathways to self-understanding.

She has a strong foundation in supporting neurodivergent clients and is LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally responsive. Her practice is always collaborative and client-led, centered on each person’s unique goals, pace, and lived experience.
