What insurances do we accept?

Commercial insurances accepted by many of our therapists:

  • Blue Cross/Blue Shield

*If you have a “Blue Reedy Plan” (a clue may be your Member ID starts with RBN), you may only be covered if seen by a Prisma Health Provider. Check with your plan carrier.

  • United Health Care/Optum/UMR

  • TRICARE

*We are considered a Point of Service (POS) provider, or a non-network TRICARE Certified Provider. This means your services will have a small deductible and co-insurance.

  • Aetna/Meritain

  • Cigna/Evernorth

Some Employee Assistance Programs Accepted (EAP)
EAP coverage varies; please confirm acceptance when calling for an appointment.

* When using an EAP, please know the specific name of your EAP, and have your authorized dates, authorization code, and number of approved sessions ready

*All EAP sessions are 45 minutes in length

*Not all providers accept all insurance listed

An Important Note on Understanding Insurance Coverage:

Insurance coverage is difficult to understand today, unfortunately, and only feels like it is getting worse, and more expensive. We want to clarify that while we as a business can help you to estimate your costs for therapy while using insurance, each member ultimately has a different plan and arrangement with their insurer, and we cannot guarantee any estimate we give.

Due to the changes in insurance coverage, it is our policy to ask that new clients pay the full insurance rate of pay for each session. Each insurer has a different contracted rate (although they are similar, typically) and while many will charge a co-pay or will eventually start to pay a portion (often called co-insurance, which is a percentage), now most will ask that the member pay for much of their medical costs in full before they start to provide help. This amount is called the “deductible.” Until we get a response from your insurer from the claims we send telling us what you will owe, typically 2-3 weeks, we like to collect that rate in full. If your insurer does pay for a portion, we can refund your payment immediately or you can keep this as credit in your account to cover future copays. This is entirely up to you. For an estimate, please call our office. Most of our initial sessions will cost between $110 and $122 depending on your insurance, and our ongoing sessions between $100 and $105 per session. For accurate information for your plan, please call your insurance provider.

There are a few exceptions to this, including EAPs and particular insurers such as VA Community Care, but this applies to all commercial insurers, such as BCBS, Aetna, Evernorth/Cigna, United Healthcare, UMR, etc. We do not accept Medicaid and cannot legally work with anyone on Medicaid, as legally we are not allowed to collect out-of-pocket fees for Medicaid recipients if their plan covers therapy costs. We are able to provide a superbill for Medicare to reimburse you for your sessions, however.

We’d love to see you!
