Jacob Rapp, Graduate Intern
Jacob Rapp (he/him/his) is a graduate intern who is passionate about creating a space where clients feel seen, safe, and supported as they explore their stories. He is currently pursuing a M.Ed./Ed.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Clemson University, with the goal of becoming a licensed professional counselor. Grounded in a client-centered and trauma-informed approach, Jacob believes that healing is a collaborative process, and that every person deserves the opportunity to feel empowered in their own growth.
Jacob is excited to work with adolescents and adults navigating concerns related to anxiety, identity development, trauma, life transitions, and relational challenges. He draws from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and narrative approaches, with a focus on building insight and resilience. His work is informed by experience supporting LGBTQ+ youth in crisis as a volunteer with The Trevor Project, and he is committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care for individuals across diverse backgrounds.
